When To Spay Or Neuter

Spaying or neutering procedures are safe and completely healthy at most ages and in most cases. Contact our staff to discuss the timing of the procedure for your unique fur baby. However, it is often recommended to spay puppies between fourth months and six months of age and to spay kittens as young as eight weeks old in some cases. Young dogs can be neutered when they are six months to nine months old and kittens can be neutered as young as eight weeks old in some cases.
